1. GREEN COMMUNICATIONS REVIEW
Before Josh turned The Lazy Environmentalist into a media company that has produced two books, two years of Sirius Satellite Radio, and two seasons of “The Lazy Environmentalist” television show on Sundance Channel, Josh founded and operated the first modern design, online green retail store called Vivavi. As a seasoned green entrepreneur and green communications expert, Josh will lend his knowledge and experience to your business.
How it works – the review process
Just as we do with our Fortune 500 clients, we ask that you compile all of your marketing materials to date including sales collateral, presentation files, all advertisements – past and present including print, radio, TV, etc – as well as press coverage and press releases for review.
Then we buy your product. Whether we’re your first customer or your 500,000th customer, we anonymously purchase your product online to review your website, product, packaging, and customer service.
At the end of this process, you’ll receive a 2 to 3 page review that includes a comprehensive assessment of your marketing materials, sales process, product, packaging and customer service interactions (should they be necessary). If you feel you offer an exceptional green product or service but you’re still not gaining the type of traction you’d like in the marketplace, we can save you months of trial and error.
This process typically takes 30 days, depending on your order delivery time.
2. IN-PERSON CONSULTING SESSION
We offer day-session consulting here in Asheville, NC. This includes all of the services described above in the Green Communications Review as well as phone interviews and email correspondence with key personnel in advance of a one-day consultation where you, your team, and Josh focus exclusively on your business. This includes all aspects of your business, from improving your marketing, product, service, and operations with an eye on maximizing your potential for success through effective green communication.
This is a focused, no-holds-barred strategy session that combines all of our entrepreneurial chops and green communication know-how. Using the review yielded from the pre-event process (described above under “How it works – the review process”) as a starting point, we work together to solve your most pressing areas of concern and augment your most promising areas of return. Ultimately, it’s up to you and your staff to implement these changes, but we’ll all be working to formulate a focused and actionable green communication strategy. Caution: Expect to be sore, tired and excited in the weeks that follow – heavy lifting may be required.
