While most of Amenity’s products are made here in the USA, these beautiful alpaca throws have been handwoven in Peru’s picturesque Andean highlands from 100% baby alpaca yarn and tinted to perfection using biodegradable dyes. The two available colors, Mocha and Camel, are fully resistant to light and wash and will not fade. These blankets represent a traditional Peruvian craft of unparalleled comfort, quality and feel. They are a perfect addition to any style of sustainably-minded home. Alpaca is soft like silk with all the same desirable temperature control (hot and cold accordingly) as wool, fleece, silk, and many modern synthetics and blends.
