The topic of energy efficiency is garnering significant attention as we search for ways to reduce our energy use, lower our energy bills, and reduce global warming greenhouse gases without really changing all that much about our behavior. Solutions exist and many, from the fridge to the washer/dryer, are built into the things we already use in our homes. Others directly relate to the materials we use to construct and insulate our homes.
