Today an environmentally focused media is informing and educating about pressing environmental issues through compelling entertainment. It’s the latest strategy being adopted and implemented by savvy filmmakers, distributors and media companies. The environmental story, the real story is starting to reach the American mainstream, informing and empowering us as consumers and as citizens to get hip to the environmental reality and do something about it through the choices me make as individuals and as a society.

Chris Paine - Director of Who Killed The Electric Car, a documentary film released by Sony Pictures Classics, chronicling the life and mysterious death of the General Motors EV1 electric automobile, examining its cultural and economic ripple effects and how the reverberated through the halls of big business and government.
