Green Furniture: Pushing the Design Aesthetic

How stylish can eco-friendly products really be? We explore that subject with one of today’s leading sustainable design analysts and editors as well as a pair of cutting-edge green furniture designers whose work demonstrates that Good Design and Green Design are mutually attainable. Those on the front lines of contemporary green furniture design are pushing furniture aesthetics in invigorating and bold directions and, in the process, are opening up entirely new possibilities for how we furnish our homes.

Andrew Sribyat
- Co-Founder and Design Director of PIE (Project Import Export), a design house that handcrafts unique furniture while working principally with natural materials to explore the concept of Living Space in relation to the complexity of nature.

Mike Iannone – Founder and Creative Director of Iannone Design, a maker of functional furniture that combines modern forms and patterns with the warmth and character of handcrafted natural materials.

Collin Dunn – Online Content Editor for Sustainable Style Foundation and Contributing Editor for Treehugger.com. Collin also consulted on the recent green issue of Domino Magazine, and manages the "Green Design for the Well-Lived Life" blog for House and Garden Magazine’s website.
