One of the coolest parts of the green movement is the enthusiasm of its participants. With green products and services being the best overall products and services, it's easy to find eco-devotees amped up to talk about a new green find. A benefit of being a Lazy Environmentalist is that the hunters of green cool come to us with their suggestions for great new websites, and we get to check them out. Keep sending us suggestions of eco products, services, and websites. Here are some of our recent favorites:
Eco-Tobi - Recently opened, this eco extension to online boutique Tobi carries great styles, beauty products, and home accoutrement.
Astrotot - Kids and infant shirts made with water based ink that is better for the environment and the results are a smooth soft print that dyes the fabric rather than a stiff plastisol (worst plastic, ever) ink that rests on top and cracks over time. The shirts are funny funny and your kid doesn't even have to know.
Freecycle - Made up of 4,180 groups with 4,155,000 members across the globe, this is a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns.
Poohwaddle - Major shout out to our friend and sound producer Jon "Myspace" Pontecorvo who turned us onto this site with its constantly updated statistics on all facets of earthly living (desertification, human population, CO2 emissions, global temperature, etc.)
This is Green - Providing consumers with current, thorough, and unbiased product information so that you can discover what green products are out there and REALLY GREEN in the marketplace.
db clay - Some of the sweetest pvc-free eco wallets we have seen.
