Nvohk: Invoking a New Business Model

Imagine a new green economy in which 20,000 plus people together owned a surf-inspired sustainable clothing brand, just by contributing $50/yr each, and with 10% of net profits donated to environmental charities. This is precisely the idea behind Nvohk (pronounced invoke), a company giving its consumers/members managerial power to drive everything from the brand’s logo design to its product, as well as decide the charity to support. Working with gnarly surf magazine and power-house Trans World Surf, people are quickly taking note of Nvohk. In the past 8 weeks since its creation, over 1,000 future members have signed up.
