Part of what I like doing most as The Lazy Environmentalist is telling really good environmental stories that get people excited about participating in positive environmental change. I believe we have such a tremendous opportunity – because there’s so much green innovation already underway – to show people how greening our lives not only serves the planet’s interest but ours as well.
With that in mind, I’ll be delivering a keynote speech tomorrow at the Sustainable Planet Film Festival in New York City. The brainchild of eco-visionariy Pamela Peeters, the film festival presents terrific films and draws inspiring environmental leaders who provide additional context for what’s being viewed on screen. The festival will open with a speech from Dr. Jaimee Lerner, the Mayor of Curitiba ( Brazil ) one of the greenest cities in the world.
